Welcome to the Hepatitis Education site. This site has been developed by Hepatitis Australia for people who educate others about viral hepatitis. There are various people in the community that educate others about hepatitis C. Hepatitis C education may be their primary role, for example educators in state and territory hepatitis councils, or it could be a small component of an education program/curriculum e.g. secondary schools teachers discussing blood borne viruses with students. This site is there to support these people and others to be able to provide accurate and relevant information to others about hepatitis C.

The Hepatitis Education site provides links to various resources, factsheets, case studies and other support tools available for people providing hepatitis C related education. Links to resources and information to assist educators deliver relevant and language appropriate messages to specific communities at risk of hepatitis C is also available.

General information on hepatitis C and other hepatitis viruses is available in the factsheets listed on this site or from Hepatitis Australia's corporate site www.hepatitisaustralia.com.

This website has been developed for educators about viral hepatitis with funding from the Australian Department of Health and Ageing.
